6 Tasty Wrap Recipes (2024)

It doesn’t happen often, but every now and then I crave a wrap for a meal. My wrap of choice usually involves chicken, and depending on my mood, might be a healthy version. In fact, most wraps are pretty healthy, which I suppose is part of their appeal. They are also easy to put together and fun to eat! The only downside I can think of is that when you serve them to kids, they often unwrap them and shake the ingredients all over the place. Or maybe that’s just in my house?

Anyway, if you’re looking for a new wrap recipe to try, these are simple, unique and yummy all at the same time!

1. California Turkey Club Wrap

With turkey, bacon, avocado and tomato, this is basically a turkey club sandwich wrapped up like a burrito. But instead of using a flour tortilla, it’s wrapped in a spinach tortilla. Other than the bacon (umm..the best part, right?), this is a really healthy lunch option. Plus, it’s so colorful when it’s all wrapped up, so that makes it even better!

Head over to Tastes Lovely to learn how to make this.

2. Cheeseburger Lettuce Wrap

I feel like this wrap is a food paradox. A juicy cheeseburger topped with ketchup and mayo, but wrapped in lettuce? Is it healthy, or isn’t it? I don’t really care because it looks delish! You’ll save yourself the extra carbs from the bread, and I bet the texture is a really unique taste. Kids might think the whole “lettuce as a bun” thing is pretty cool too.

Stop by Life in the Lofthouse for the details on this.

3. Salmon Guacamole Bacon Wrap

I wouldn’t think to make a wrap using fish, but then again, I’m not exactly a master in the kitchen. I also wouldn’t think to mix it with guacamole. But again, I’m no expert. And bacon on top of those two ingredients? I should really read more recipe books! This colorful and healthy wrap would be a seriously scrumptious choice for lunch or dinner, although I’m not sure how brave most kids would be to try it.

4. Black Bean Wraps

“Beans, beans, the magical fruit. The more you eat, the more you…” you know the rest. This veggie infused black bean wrap is a vegetarian’s dream. Loaded with corn, avocado, black olives, and baby greens, it’s full of nutrients. It could basically be considered a burrito, but calling it a wrap is way more chic.

Check out Veggie Primer for the step by step prep instructions.

5. Granola Apple Peanut Butter Wraps

One of my favorite ways to eat an apple is by cutting it into slices and dipping it into peanut butter. My kids sometimes like to have that as an afternoon snack too. It’s super healthy and fills you up, so you don’t have to resort to snacking until dinner. Although, this wrap would be great to eat for breakfast! It’s also full of cranberries, raisins and granola. And it’s quick and easy, so it’s great for hectic school mornings!

6. Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Wraps

If you’ve ever had a burger with barbecue sauce and pineapple, you know that the combination is quite magical. Swapping out beef for chicken is just as good, and this wrap has all that and more! Mozzarella cheese, red onion and romaine lettuce are added to the mix, making this a healthy, flavorful, colorful meal.

You’ll find all the details for this over at Tastes Better From Scratch.
