In this blog, we’ll guide you through creating a Taylor Swift-themed party, complete with DIY VIP backstage passes, rhinestone microphones, and guitar-shaped chocolate lollipops. And to top it all off- some activities of bracelet making, a photo booth, cupcake decorating, and even a mini stage for your little superstar to shine on! Get ready to shake it off and have a fabulous time with your friends as you celebrate the music and style of this iconic pop star!
DIY VIP Backstage Passes:
Every true Swiftie knows the excitement of getting a VIP backstage pass. Create your own personalized VIP passes (I used Canva and printed these in wallet size at our local Walgreens) and lanyards. Include each guest’s name for an extra touch of exclusivity. These passes will make your guests feel like true VIPs throughout the party!
Bracelet Making:
To kick off the festivities, set up a bracelet-making station where the young partygoers can unleash their creativity and design their own Taylor Swift-inspired bracelets. Provide an array of colorful beads, strings, and charms, ensuring there’s a wide variety to choose from. The kids can have a blast creating unique accessories to take home as a delightful party favor.
Photo Booth Fun:
No birthday party is complete without a photo booth! Set up a Taylor Swift-themed backdrop featuring album covers, concert posters, and lyrics to some of her popular songs. Tie-Dye “Taylor’s Version” Rosette Cake:
Capture the essence of Taylor Swift’s whimsical style with a tie-dye “Taylor’s Version” rosette cake. Start by baking your favorite cake flavor in layers. Divide the cake batter into three equal portions and dye each portion with pink, purple, and blue food coloring. Layer the different colored batters in your cake pans to create a tie-dye effect. Decorations:
I purchased these printables from Etsy and purchased the iridescent frames at Dollar Tree! I like ordering printables because once you have the Download you can print the sizes you want and as many as you want! This one is linked here ! I used the cupcake toppers as well for our cupcake decorating station.
Rhinestone Microphones:
For a touch of glamour, provide your guests with rhinestone microphones to channel their inner Taylor Swift. These can be easily crafted by attaching adhesive rhinestones to a plain microphone (I purchased both off of Amazon!) Let your guests unleash their inner superstar as they sing along to Taylor’s greatest hits!
The Birthday Girl:
To make sure the boys are included, we added some “Travis Kelce” themed Game On cups filled with some football goodies with red and yellow-themed candy!

Hi! What glue did you use to attach the rhinestones to the microphones? They are amazing!

It is called e6000 glue.. below is the link or it can be found at local craft stores ! You only need a very little dot to apply the rhinestones (and it comes out quick so be careful!) The one oz tube covers about 15 microphones (they were smaller).
