What is the best section to sit in at MetLife Stadium? ›

The Best Seats at MetLife Stadium

First, in my opinion, whether you sit on the Giants side (sections 109 to 117) or the visitor side (sections 134 to 143) some of the best seats are in sections 135, 136, 137, 112, 113, and 114. Putting aside the coolness factor, the best seat would be between rows 10 and 20.

Metlife Stadium, though, is not one of those stadiums. With no roof, the stadium is totally exposed to the elements.

Seen more concerts at MetLife than football games. The last one was ACDC, and they rocked the place. My only complaint was that the vocals were not loud enough so the music drowned out the lyrics.

If you're looking for sun, stick to the east (home) side of the field. The sun is low in the sky by late in the day and will shine directly on seats on the east side of the stadium.

The Side Stands

Despite the price, seats situated near the halfway line are usually the first to be sold as they usually belong to season ticket holders, or those in hospitality, as they are considered the very best seats in a football stadium.

MetLife Stadium operates cash-free. Only contactless payment options will be accepted within the Stadium. Parking / Drop-Off – IF DRIVING, ARRIVE EARLY (AND TAILGATE!) TO AVOID HEAVY INGRESS TRAFFIC!

Guests are welcome to carry-in the following items into MetLife Stadium: Clear bags that are 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or less in size (1 bag per person) Small purses/handbags (clutch-type bags) that are 4.5″ x 6.5″ or less in size (1 per person)

RAIN OR SHINE EVENT: Umbrellas are prohibited but ponchos or raincoats are permited.

MetLife Stadium is not responsible for any lost or damaged items. In accordance with New Jersey State law, MetLife Stadium is smoke-free. Smoking is permitted only along the fence line on the plaza level. Guests smoking electronic cigarettes are asked to adhere to the same policy.

Shockingly, New York Giants and New York Jets fans — who share MetLife Stadium — get a decent rate for the cheapest, smallest brew available with prices arriving at $5 per beer or 42 cents per ounce.

During their annual preseason matchup, both the Giants and the Jets will have an end zone with their team logo. Unlike a number of other new NFL venues, MetLife Stadium does not have a roof, as proposals to include a roof failed, over a dispute for funding.

Seating. With a peak capacity of over 100,000 spectators (80,000+ listed seating capacity), AT&T Stadium has the highest capacity of any NFL stadium, while MetLife Stadium has the highest listed seating capacity at 82,500. The smallest stadium is Soldier Field with a capacity of 61,500.

- Middle section seats of Orchestra, Parterre, and Grand Tier.

There are five tiers of seating at MetLife: the lower bowl (sections 101 to 149), suite level 3, club seating (201 to 250b), suite level 5, suite level 6 and the upper bowl (301 to 350).

Lautenberg Station at Secaucus Junction. The station is located off Exit 15X on the eastern extension of the NJ Turnpike (675 New Country Road, Secaucus NJ). Ticket holders can park in this 1,100-space parking lot and take the Meadowlands rail service to MetLife Sports Complex. The parking lot is open 24 hours/day.
